Terms and Conditions

As a ticket holder, I understand and agree to the following Terms and Conditions of the Kennesaw Museum Foundation Raffle agreement set forth herein:

This ticket represents a chance to win the opportunity to accept the Yamaha Skeeter on the terms and conditions set forth below.
The winner of the Yamaha Skeeter 20i Performance Fishing Boat agrees to accept the boat, without alterations or additions, and the prize winner agrees to accept the prize “as is” with absolutely no express or implied warranties given by the Kennesaw Museum Foundation or Yamaha.
The winning ticket holder will be sent a “Winner Notification and Acceptance Letter” by certified, return receipt U.S Mail. The winner will have seven (7) days from the date of receipt to accept the prize by executing and returning the “Winner Notification and Acceptance Letter” pursuant to the terms stated herein. Failure to execute and return the Winner Notification and Acceptance Letter and accept the prize within seven (7) days, will automatically result in the forfeiture of the prize, with no substitution or alternative prize. The prize will then be awarded to the second runner-up, or to such runner-up that accepts the said prize pursuant to all stipulated terms and conditions.
The prize may not be substituted or exchanged or redeemed for cash value.
The $100 ticket price is not deductible for Federal or State income tax purposes. All sales are final and non-refundable.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
The Kennesaw Museum Foundation reserves the right to use the names, pictures, video images, and relevant quotes of the winner.
All applicable taxes, license, and fees are the responsibility of the winner based on the retail value of the prize. Approximate retail value is $60,000.
Purchase of this ticket constitutes full agreement by the purchaser with all terms and conditions set forth herein.
The winner need not be present to win.
Void where prohibited by law.
Final deadline for on-line registration is 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 23, 2008. Mail-in raffle ticket purchases must be received no later than Thursday, October 23, 2008. Only 2008 raffle tickets will be sold.
Orders and payments received after tickets are sold out will be returned in full. If all tickets are not sold, remaining tickets will be on sale at the Kennesaw Museum Foundation Gala to within 30 minutes of the drawing.
Odds of winning the boat will be based on the total number of tickets sold, but no greater than 2008 to 1.
Requests for tickets must be sent on this official form and mailed or faxed to (770) 421-8485, or tickets may be purchased via the Web site, www.boatraffle.org. Upon receipt of the ticket order form and payment, your ticket(s) will be forwarded to you via first-class mail.
Drawing will be held Saturday, October 25, during the Kennesaw Museum Foundation Gala.
The winner will be selected from the container in which the purchased ticket stubs for each entry shall be mixed and drawn on a random basis. Each ticket shall have equal chance to win.
Results of the drawing will be certified according to all laws and regulations.
Kennesaw Museum Foundation officers, staff members, and their families and Southern Museum staff members and their families may not participate in the raffle.

Proceeds benefit the Kennesaw Museum Foundation and the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History.
